Attendance

10%

Students with 3 or fewer absences (with documented reasons) will receive 10/10 for atendance. Students with 4-6 absences will receive 6/10 for attendance. Students with more than 6 absences will be asked to consult with the course coordinator and Faculty Sponsor regarding their attendance in the course.

Participation

20%

Participation in discussions in class and over an internal mailing list. Marked by peer evaluation at the end of term. View criteria for marking participation

Presentation

30%

Students will present a peer-reviewed publication with demonstrated relevance to the course. Marked by peer evaluation after the class. View criteria for marking the presentation

Term paper


40%

6-8 pages, single-spaced, with a minimum of 20 references, preferably peer-reviewed publications. Marked by Faculty Sponsor. View criteria for marking the term paper
